Department of Labor and implemented locally by the Workforce
Investment Board, the Stark and Tuscarawas County
Commissioners and the Mayor of the City of Canton, Ohio.

is designed by
MAGNET, the Manufacturing Advocacy & Growth Network, to match
job seekers with manufacturers in northeast Ohio currently
seeking employees. MAGNET supports and champions manufacturing
and is the voice for the region’s manufacturers. The Canton
Regional Chamber of Commerce is a local partner of MAGNET
offering reciprocal memberships at no charge for one year.

Local
students with practical work experience who can step in and
produce rapid results will be more attractive to recruiters
and hiring managers. No longer are just high grades, good
