Kent State University Stark Campus
Kent State Stark offers bachelor's, master's and associate’s degrees in a number of study areas. It also offers the core courses for the 281 undergraduate majors and programs at Kent State University’s main campus. It has served the community for more than 60 years and is located in Stark County’s Jackson Township.

Malone University
Malone offers bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in three schools: arts and sciences, business, education, graduate and professional studies, nursing and theology. It has operated in Canton, Ohio, since 1957, and is located in a residential neighborhood in the northwest section of the city. It is affiliated with the Evangelical Friends Church-Eastern Region.

University of Mount Union
The University of Mount Union offers 48 different majors in a variety of bachelor’s-degree programs in the arts and sciences, as well as a graduate program in physician’s assistant studies. Located in Alliance, Ohio, in northeastern Stark County, the University of Mount Union is the oldest of Stark County’s colleges and universities. It received its charter in 1858.

Stark State College of Technology
Stark State offers 50 associate-degree programs in business, engineering, health, information, public service and general studies. In addition, it offers 11 one-year certificate programs. Located in Jackson Township, it is the largest technical college in Ohio. It began as Canton Area Technical School in downtown Canton in 1960. It has satellite campuses in several locations, including downtown Canton.

Walsh University
Walsh offers undergraduate programs in education, humanities, language and letters, mathematics and sciences, nursing, business, social and behavioral sciences and theology. Its graduate programs are in the field of counseling, education, business, physical therapy and theology. Walsh, a Catholic university, is celebrating 50 years in North Canton, Ohio, where its main campus now spans 136 acres. It has satellite campuses in three other Ohio cities and also has an overseas campus outside Rome.

Aultman College of Nursing and Health Sciences
Aultman College, located on the main campus of Aultman Hospital in Canton, offers an associate’s degree in nursing that qualifies graduates to take the licensing exam to become a registered nurse. It is developing other degree programs. Aultman College’s roots are in the founding of Aultman Hospital School of Nursing in 1892. The school incorporated as a college in 2004 and admitted its first class of students in the fall of 2005. The college currently has an enrollment of about 300 students and graduates about 80 students per year. It is affiliated with the Aultman Health Foundation.

Ashland University - Massillon/Stark Center
A branch of Ashland University, the Massillon/Stark center can accommodate 120 adult students with an expandable central core and moveable walls. An ideal meeting space for both large and small groups, the Stark Center offers high-tech projection systems and a wireless network in every classroom for computer presentations. Programs offered include: master of education, master of business administration, bachelor's plus and professional development. Click here for more information.
College of Wooster
The College of Wooster, an independent liberal arts college founded in1866, has a unique curriculum that emphasizes independent learning. Students can choose from more than 48 academic programs and 11 pre-professional programs. Students also have the opportunity to design their own majors. All Wooster seniors are required to participate in the Independent Study program, where each student creates an original research project, written work, performance, or art exhibit supported by a faculty mentor. I.S. is one of the best senior capstone programs in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report. Click here for more information.
The University of Akron
A "Best Midwestern College" by The Princeton Review, Akron University has more than 22,000 students and a 218-acre campus in the heart of Akron. The academic choices are numerous: 200 undergraduate majors and over 100 master's degree options.
