CANTON, OHIO (July 29, 2013)—The Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival is pleased to announce emcees for the Fashion Show Luncheon and Enshrinees’ Gold Jacket Dinner, both on Friday, Aug. 2, and for the Enshrinees GameDay Roundtable on Sunday, Aug. 4. Betsy Kling, chief meteorologist for WKYC-TV3, will serve as emcee for the Fashion Show Luncheon. Kling was born in northeast Ohio and is part of a small group of women in the country who have earned the prestigious certified broadcast meteorologist accreditation, as well as the seal of approval from the national weather association. Kling is passionate about teaching children of all ages about the weather, and she created and produces Channel 3's weather education day every year with the Cleveland Indians. She is very active in the community, often speaks at schools and civic organization meetings, and gives her time to several charities. The show will feature the season’s hottest fashions from area retailers as well as lively entertainment from stilt walkers, dancers from Constellation Performing Arts Company, and music by the University of Akron Brazilian Percussion Ensemble. Rich Eisen, NFL Network host, will emcee the Enshrinees’ Gold Jacket Dinner. Eisen is a three-time sports Emmy nominee in the outstanding studio host category, and he has an extensive, versatile, and impressive resume. He’s an NFL mainstay for on-location coverage for the NFL Network, from league events such as Kickoff, Pro Football Hall of Fame, NFL Scouting Combine, NFL Draft and Super Bowl. As the first on-air talent added to the NFL Network roster when the network launched in 2003, he is a great friend of the Hall of Fame and is celebrating his 10th anniversary with the NFL Network. The program will include introduction of nearly 120 returning Hall of Famers, plus the highlight of the evening—the presentation of the gold jackets to the Class of 2013 Enshrinees. Steve Mariucci, NFL Network analyst, will serve as emcee for the Enshrinees GameDay Roundtable. Mariucci was an NFL head coach for nine years, six with the San Francisco 49ers, and three with the Detroit Lions. While with the 49ers he led the team to two division titles and two wild card berths. He currently is in his sixth season as an analyst on NFL Network. As one of their most recognizable and trusted voices, he is one of the lead analysts in nearly every NFL Network on-location production including the Super Bowl, Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement, NFL Scouting Combine, the NFL Draft and the League’s annual kickoff event. The roundtable discussion is a football fan’s dream come true with an up-close-and-personal look at the Class of 2013 and the pleasure of hearing them tell stories about their days on the gridiron as coach or players--always emotional, always humorous, always enjoyable. Great tickets are still available for the Fashion Show Luncheon and Enshrinees GameDay Roundtable, and limited tickets may be available for the Enshrinees’ Gold Jacket Dinner, by calling (330) 458-2048.
