Are there any prizes/awards and in what age groups?

8 + (2-mile only)                   25 – 29                     55 - 59   

9 – 12 (2-mile only)               30 – 34                     60 - 64

12 & under (5-mile only)        35 – 39                     65 - 69  

13 – 15                                40 – 44                     70 - 74 

16 – 18                                45 – 49                     75 & Over

19 – 24                                50 - 54  

5-Mile
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top four finishers overall (men and women).
$200 – First Place                    $75 - Third Place
$100 – Second Place               $50 – Fourth Place
(Overall and masters winners are not eligible for age group awards)
Prizes will be awarded to the first, second, third and fourth place finishers in each age group (both men and women).

Masters (age 40 and over, men and women):
Cash prizes will be awarded to the first and second place finishers strictly in the 5-Mile.
$100 – First Place
$ 50 - Second Place 

 Competitive Walking Division in the 5-Mile Race!
This division is not for recreational walkers.  Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers.

The course will open to vehicular traffic on 12th Street approximately one hour after the commencement of the 5-Mile event.  Walkers must maintain a maximum 18 minute pace in this competitive walking division.

2-Mile
Prizes will be awarded to the top four finishers overall (men and women).  Prizes will be awarded to the first, second, third and fourth place finishers in each age group (men and women).

Will there be race day registration?
No, there is NO race day registration, but you may register :

Can I walk the route or bring my child in a stroller?
Yes, but we prefer you use the 2-mile route

Where do I park?
There is ample parking at McKinley Senior High School parking lots on 17th Street NW.  

Is there a family discount?
Yes, if you register on-line at signmeup.com you will receive a family discount.

If I cannot run the race, can you refund my registration fee?
We’re sorry but all entry fees are per person/family are NON-REFUNDABLE.  And, unless you re-register prior to the start of the race, you MUST run in the race you registered for or be disqualified and ineligible for awards.
