Great musical variety at
annual ribs burnoff
The Pro Football Hall of Fame
Enshrinement Festival has announced the 2009
Ribs Burnoff concert slate:
· Wednesday,
Aug. 5:
Zoso – The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience
· Thursday,
Aug. 6:
Country artist Eric Church presented in
cooperation with WQMX 94.9 FM
· Friday,
Aug. 7:
Michael Stanley & The Resonators
presented in cooperation with Mix 94.1 and
News-Talk 1480 WHBC
All concerts will be held on the
Sheetz Stage at Stark County Fairgrounds
and will begin at approximately 8 p.m. To
accommodate even more fans at the concerts,
chairs or seating of any kind will not
be permitted anywhere on the track area; all
track admission will be free, standing room
only. People wishing to have a reserved seat in
the grandstands can purchase tickets for only $8
each. Tickets will be available for
walk-in
purchase beginning Monday, June 29, at all
Stark and several Summit County Sheetz
locations, and at the Canton Regional
Chamber of Commerce in downtown Canton, 222
Market Avenue North from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
each weekday.

In addition to the Ribs Burnoff
evening concerts, attendees can enjoy activities
and free musical entertainment on the Ohio
Lottery Day Stage all three days. Additional
family activities include an expanded children’s
entertainment area with face painting,
caricaturists, balloon twisters, Fantasy
Football Zone powered by AEP, a master sand
sculptor, Lowe’s Build and Grow, Char-Broil
Infrared tour, U.S. Army interactive unit, and
much, much more.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame
Enshrinement Festival Ribs Burnoff will run Aug.
5, 6 and 7 beginning at 11 a.m., and concluding
at 10:30 p.m. each day.
In addition to fantastic ribs, a wide variety of
other food will be showcased, including ice
cream, corn on the cob, buffalo wings, funnel
cakes, sweet potato fries, Italian sausage,
deep-fried Oreos and Twinkies, and other
delicious midway fare!
Admission to the Ribs Burnoff is free. Onsite
parking at the fairgrounds will be free each day
until 4 p.m., after which time a fee of $5 per
vehicle will be charged. For more information,
