HALL OF FAME ENSHRINEMENT FESTIVAL ANNUAL TOP MODEL COMPETITION ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

 

CANTON, OHIO (Dec. 15, 2008) – Do you have what it takes to model in Ohio’s largest fashion show? Here’s your chance to prove it, and have a great time in the process! The Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival Fashion Show Luncheon committee will conduct the annual Enshrinement Festival Top Model Competition on February 27, 2009, where models will be selected for participation in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival Fashion Show Luncheon to be held on Friday, August 7, 2009, at the Canton Memorial Civic Center. The competition is made possible through the generous support of Aura Salon & Spa and the Downtown Canton Special Improvement District and its downtown Canton restaurants.

MANDATORY dates and deadlines are as follows:

 

§  Friday, Jan. 9, 2009: Applications, $15 entry fee and photograph must be received in the Enshrinement Festival office by no later than 5 p.m.
 

§  Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009: Auditions for all entrants will be held at the Timken High School Auditorium from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Timken High School Auditorium is located at 521 West Tuscarawas St. in downtown Canton.
 

§  Friday, Feb. 27, 2009: Winners will be selected during the semi-finals and finals in the Enshrinement Festival Top Model Competition, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Timken High School Auditorium.
 

§  Mar. through July, 2009: A minimum of two (2) training sessions to be held for the winners. Exact dates and times to be determined once winners are announced.

 

Men and women in the following age categories are encouraged to participate: 18 to 25; 26 to 39; 40 to 49; and 50 and older. Entrants must be at least 18 years old by January 24, 2009, in order to be eligible to compete. There is no guarantee that there will be winners in each age category.

 

The Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival Fashion Show Luncheon has consistently been recognized as one of the premiere events of the 10-day festivities. After a delicious lunch, nearly 4,000 guests gather in the main auditorium to enjoy the high fashion and high energy which have become the standard for this huge show, featuring 30 models showcasing 200 of the season’s hottest fashions.
