“The YP Artist as Entrepreneur” Networking Event

Featuring Eric Rausch, Ceramic Studio Manager

  Stark Entrepreneurship Alliance (SEA), ArtsinStark and ystark! will co-host a special networking event on Aug. 20, from 5:30-7 pm, at the Joseph Saxton Gallery of Photography, 520 Cleveland Ave. NW in Canton. Eric Rausch, Ceramic Studio Manager at the Cultural Art Center in Columbus, OH, and his work will be highlighted. Rausch is a young professional ceramic artist in Columbus, Ohio, where he teaches and manages the ceramics studio at the Cultural Arts Center. Rausch holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Ohio State University; since graduation, Rausch has developed the skills needed to build a career as an artist. Working in the studio is just one aspect that keeps Eric in the arts. He is also an administrator and entrepreneur. Rausch will share his insights on what it takes to be an artist in the Midwest today, delving into topics relating to artists, business owners and community leaders. Rausch will discuss how all of these groups can come together to create a thriving community. There is no charge for this event but registration is required.
