2014 Spring Network
PowerUP Your Networking with Maia Beatty
Think networking is all about schmoozing to collect the most business cards? Well, think again! The Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Spring NETWORK event on Friday, May 2, provides a way to revitalize your sales database and make real connections with new people in an exciting, speed networking format.
At Spring Network, Harness your natural ability to connect with your potential customers (or what Maia likes to call, ‘your raving fans'.) Learn how to PowerUp your Networking with Maia Beatty. Get surefire strategies for preparing, attending, and following-up. Let's talk Preparation: The first point in the lesson takes place before Spring Network even begins. First things first - prepare your mind to know that networking isn't sales. It's like courtship or dating. You wouldn't meet a person and ask them to marry you right on the spot, would you? No way! You'd learn more about them first and then tell them about yourself, right? The same is true for networking. Be prepared to take it slow and to build long lasting relationships that bring value.
About Spring Network:
NETWORK is presented twice a year by the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce and is about networking; fast and focused networking that can lead to powerful benefits for your business. For a balanced approach, Network always pairs networking with a speaker for a unique opportunity to learn more about marketing, sales or networking. NETWORK is not just for sales and marketing associates; it will benefit anyone interested in establishing long- term relationships and increasing a company’s bottom line, including area business owners and purchasing agents. Every attendee will receive a registrant’s list for post-event follow-up and future contact. There is a maximum of two representatives per company permitted to ensure greatest networking exposure.
