• community :: exposure to new perspectives and methods grows us, so we foster an environment where dialogue, collaboration and mutual sharpening can occur.
• opportunity :: we showcase the work of those at the cusp of their creative life, seeking out “young” artists and those whose voices have not yet been heard.

what we ENVISION :: we seek to become an incubator for the development of local artists, formation of unique collaborations and new modes of expression, in order to:

• obtain local, state and national recognition of creative work occurring in canton,
• expand the definition of what creativity is and the various forms in which it can occur, and
• break paradigms about who art is for, while encouraging a livelier exchange between the viewer and the artwork.
