Angry BBQ - 2nd Annual Tribute to the Veterans
Canton, Ohio (May 5, 2014) Angry Barbeque, a barbeque restaurant in Canton, will host its second annual Tribute to the Veterans on Saturday, May 24, from noon to 8 p.m. Restaurant owner Mark Albert, a combat veteran himself, hosts a benefit barbeque every year just before Memorial Day to further recognize veterans for their service. This year the proceeds will benefit Fisher House Foundation, whom provides military families housing close to a loved one during hospitalization for an illness, disease or injury. Tribute to the Veterans will feature a performance by Sonny Robertson, a car show and a raffle. Angry Barbeque requests a minimum donation of $5. A $10 donation receives a coupon for a free pulled pork sandwich applicable on the next visit. Last year more than 300 guests attended the Tribute to the Veterans and proceeds benefitted the Wounded Warrior Project and the Marine Corps Ball.
