Astronomy Club Meet-Up at The Wilderness Center Friday, June 26, 7:30 pm A program, Visual Observing of Variable Stars: Useful Scientific Data, will be presented by Christopher Stephan (owner of Classical Science by Stephan, a new science store in Wooster). The presentation will be on how to make visual magnitude estimates of variable stars and the American Association of Variable Stars (AAVSO). Stephan has been a member and observer since the early 1970's and has submitted over 40,000 variable star observations to the AAVSO. Meet at the Astronomy Education Building.
