BIO: Donzell S. Taylor, President and CEO

Don Taylor began his tenure with Welty Building Company in 1991 in a Project Management role. Over the course of 5 years under the guidance of Jerry Welty, Don was appointed President and CEO of Welty Building Company in 1996. Don’s success can be attributed to focus on his customer's customer and his emotionally intelligent leadership. Under his leadership, Welty has doubled its business six-fold in the last fifteen years, with offices in Cleveland, Columbus, Akron and Houston. Don's expanded the Welty Building Company to include facility services, economic development, office environments and energy & infrastructure. Welty has embraced lean construction methods, integrated project delivery and people centered innovation designed to maximize customer value and alleviate waste, which has attributed to hundreds of millions of dollars saved for clients.
