CANTON, OH (July 31, 2009) - The Canton Farmers' Market has been well under way for several weeks and has reached a new high for produce and local product vendors! For the second year in a row, to accommodate the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival and street closures, the Canton Farmers' Market will move its operations to Aultman Hospital for one day only.

On Aug. 7, the market will be held in the Aultman Physician Office Building parking lot from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The parking lot is located on West Tuscarawas Street, between Clarendon and Dartmouth Avenues.

Visitors can browse 17 incredible vendors offering a plethora of great, local food choices, natural meats, cut flowers, baked goods, artisan breads, soaps and lotions, grains, local canned goods and potted perennial and annual plants. At this special market, visitors will enjoy live local music by Mary Pusateri, free health screenings from Aultman Hospital, an opportunity to purchase The Women's Board of Aultman Hospital cookbook, "Dining In," and participate in other activities.

On Aug. 15, the Canton Farmers' Market will return to its home location in downtown Canton along Cleveland Ave. N between Fourth and Fifth Streets NW. The market is held every Saturday, rain or shine, through Oct. 17, from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
