Canton Farmers' Market moving to new day, time and location this week during Enshrinement Festival events
CANTON, OHIO (July 29, 2013) – This week's Canton Farmers' Market will be moved to Friday, Aug. 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Aultman Hospital. The move is being made for one week only in order to accommodate the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival festivities happening in downtown Canton. Aultman Hospital is located at 2600 Sixth St. SW in Canton, and the market will be at the 6th Street Circle near Dartmouth. Customers can shop more than 20 vendors, offering a variety of local products including fresh produce, baked goods, potted perennials, annuals plants and locally made items. At this special market, visitors will enjoy live local music from “Cowboy” Bill Ferguson and can take advantage of free health screenings from Aultman Hospital Wellness on Wheels. Customers can also enjoy lunch deals from Aultman Food Services or Old Carolina Barbecue. On Saturday, Aug.10, the Canton Farmers’ Market will return to its home location in downtown Canton at the Timken High School Administrative Building Parking Lot on Fourth Street and McKinley Ave NW. The market will be open every Saturday, rain or shine, through Oct. 19 from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. offering a large range of activities and even greater vendor selection.
