The Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce and Greater Akron Chamber present a panel of industry leaders from the Canton-Akron region who will provide insight on key trends, industry issues, and their expectations for regional and national economic performance in the year ahead.

The volatility in the nation’s economy has increased over the last year and, depending on who you talk to, the economy seems to be signaling anything from slower growth to a recession could occur in 2020. Our panelists have been key participants in looking at the economic trends for their businesses, considering global, national and regional conditions and leading their teams to a 2020 forecast that reflects their expectations for the year ahead.  In addition to providing a broad summary of regional trends, Jacob Duritsky, Vice President of Strategy and Research at Team NEO, will moderate the panel discussion featuring:
  • Sean Lyden, Chief Strategy Officer, Akron Children’s Hospital
  • Jon Park,  CEO & Chairman, Westfield Bank
  • Doug Sibila, President/CEO, Peoples Services, Inc.
  • Jackie Stewart, Director of External Affairs, Encino Energy
  • Steve Strah, CFO, FirstEnergy
