CANTON, OH (March 4, 2009) - Vendor applications are available now for the 2009 Canton Farmers' Market, which begins June 20 and runs through Oct. 17 in downtown Canton.
The submission deadline for full-time vendors is May 4 and a discount is available for those reserving space and paying fees before April 4. Farmers' Market spaces are assigned on first come, first served basis; rules and regulations about the market are at www.CantonFarmersMarket.com.
The Canton Farmers' Market is held downtown at Cleveland Avenue NW, between Fourth and Fifth Streets NW, and will run every Saturday morning from 8 to 11:30 a.m. The Canton Farmers' Market features a bounty of fresh, local produce, beautiful flower bouquets, tasty pastries, jams, jellies, fresh herbs, potted plants and flowers, and much more. The 2009 season is set to be the best yet with new vendors, varieties and recipes. Festive music, art classes, gardening and healthy-living information will round out the complete farmers' market experience.
