Tourism is an integral and driving component of the Stark County economy, sustaining over 7% of salaried employment. Visitors to Stark County generated business sales of $1.6 billion, directly and indirectly, in 2013. Tourism includes and affects transportation, recreation, retail, lodging, food and beverage and more.
