Information session set for Wednesday, March 20, 2013

Canton, OH (March 12, 2013)—Leadership Stark County, a department of the Canton Regional Chamber, is accepting applications for its 2013-2014 Signature Class. The Signature Program, now in its 27th year, provides personal and professional development to enhance leadership capacity in the workplace and in the community. The curriculum includes an intensive study of community assets and issues led by interaction with prominent decision-makers. The Signature Class begins in September 2013 with a two-day overnight retreat. and is followed by nine monthly full-day seminars. The cost of the program is $2,500. Tuition assistance is available for individuals from small business, education, non-profit and government sectors. Prospective candidates and employers are encouraged to attend an informational breakfast on Wednesday, Mar. 20, at 8 a.m. at the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce (located at 222 Market Ave. N in downtown Canton). At the free, one-hour session, applicants and prospective candidates will be offered an overview of the Signature Program, an explanation of the application process, tuition assistance information and a question and answer segment.
