Malone students write and stage plays within 24 hours

They call it 24-Hour Theatre. Within that span of time, Malone University students will audition actors; write five one-act plays; memorize lines; rehearse; create sets, costumes, props and lighting cues; sometimes even compose musical scores; and perform the entire finished project before a live audience. The starting gun goes off at 9 p.m. Friday, January 24 with auditions, and the complete plays will be staged Saturday, January 25 at 9 p.m. in the Performing Arts Hall of Founders Hall, located on the campus at 2600 Cleveland Avenue N.W. in Canton, Ohio
