MASSILLON, OH – Meals On Wheels of Stark & Wayne Counties, a non-profit agency celebrating its 40th anniversary of providing home delivered meals to the nutritionally at-risk, announced it has hired Dawn Moeglin as its new Community Relations/Grant Administrator and Lisa Zellers as its new Community Developer.   Moeglin has over 15 years of experience in fundraising and grant writing and her clients have included schools, community and nursing care facilities, and corporate charities.  In her most recent position as fundraising and brand leader at a Paul Mitchell cosmetology school in Cleveland, Moeglin increased fundraising donations by 250% from the previous year. Ms. Moeglin has worked with brand and social media management and received her bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Kent State University.   Zellers brings more than 20 years of experience in building and maintaining community relationships, primarily working with agricultural organizations in both Ohio and California.  She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA.  Before joining Meals On Wheels of Stark & Wayne Counties, she was an Agricultural Liaison to U. S. Senator George V. Voinovich.   “Dawn is results oriented and we are confident she has the abilities to secure the funding we need to help provide meals to the homebound, disabled, and elderly in our community,” said Teresa Barry, CEO of Meals On Wheels of Stark & Wayne Counties.  “Lisa is active in the community and her expertise will be most helpful in her responsibilities with the operational management of our second annual Main Event development dinner and auction to be held November 8.”   Residing in Canton, Moeglin lives with her husband Dan and three children where she is actively involved with St. Peter Church and School and St. Thomas Aquinas High School.   Zellers lives in Hartville with her husband and two step-children where she is actively involved with Bethany Mennonite Church, Lake Township FISH, and St. Thomas Aquinas High school.  She serves on the board of Aultman College of Nursing and Health Sciences and the Women’s Board of Aultman Hospital.  She is a member of the Stark Community Foundation Capital Campaigns Committee and Chairman of Lake Community YMCA.   Meals On Wheels of Stark & Wayne Counties is a non-profit agency that provides nutritional support to homebound individuals of all ages.  Services include delivery of hot meals, breakfast meals, sack suppers, frozen meals, chopped meals, pureed meals and liquid supplements (pending physician referral), Monday through Friday. The agency has 20 sites throughout Stark and Wayne Counties and depends on volunteers to fulfill its mission.
