CANTON, OH (Aug 3, 2010) – In order to accommodate the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival festivities this week in downtown Canton, the Canton Farmers' Market will move from its regular day, time and location for one week only. This week’s Canton Farmers’ Market will be held on Friday, Aug. 6, at Aultman Physician Office Building parking lot from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The parking lot is located on West Tuscarawas Street, between Clarendon and Dartmouth avenues. Customers can shop at 20 vendor tents, offering a variety of local products including fresh produce, baked goods, artisan breads, potted perennials, annuals plants and locally made items. At this special market, visitors will enjoy live local music from “Mad Violinist” Gary Gerber and can take advantage of free health screenings from Aultman Hospital. On Saturday Aug. 14, the Canton Farmers’ Market will return to its home location in downtown Canton at Cleveland Avenue N between Fourth & Fifth Streets NW. The market will be open every Saturday, rain or shine, through Oct. 16 from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. offering a large range of activities and even greater vendor selection.
