CANTON, OH (March 4, 2009) - Darryl Dillenback, CEO of National Consolidates Industries, Inc., has been named chairman of the Chamber's Economic Development committee. Dillenback replaces Ron Becker, who is the 2009 board chairman for the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce.  
"Ron did an excellent job in growing our economic committee during his tenure as chairman, and we thank him for his dedication to the Chamber. Darryl's business and leadership background makes him a strong successor, and we have the utmost confidence that he'll continue to enhance the program," said Dennis P. Saunier, president and CEO of Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce.
  The Economic Development committee is comprised of area business leaders that provide strategic direction and oversight to the Chamber's economic development efforts.   Dillenback has held the position of president and CEO at five previous companies leading up to his recent appointment with NCI, including Union Metal Corporation from 2003 to 2008. He received his B.S. degree from Clarkson University and took graduate courses at Lehigh University. He participates on several not-for-profit boards in addition to the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, including Aultman Health Foundation and the Buckeye Boy Scout Council. While at Union Metal Corp., the company received a "2007 Business Excellence Award" from the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce and a "2007 Manny Award" for manufacturing excellence presented by Cleveland's Inside Business Magazine.
