Four Generations in the Workplace

SPEAKER: Chrissy Myers

Director & CEO, AUI

Each generation has distinct attitudes, behaviors, expectations, habits and motivational buttons.  Learning how to communicate with the different generations can eliminate many major confrontations and misunderstandings in the workplace and the world of business.

About the Breakfast:

Fast Break attendees have the opportunity to obtain business leads through enjoyable networking activities at an event that has built a reputation as one of the most energetic lead producing sessions in Stark County. You’ll hear compelling speakers, meet new business contacts and enjoy a delicious breakfast. And, if you bring a door prize valued at $15 or more, you’ll even star in your very own 30 second commercial to promote your business!

Chrissy is the Director and CEO of AUI one of the leading employee benefits agencies in Northeast Ohio providing insurance benefits to solopreneurs, small and medium sized businesses in both for profit and non-profit sectors.  AUI is one of the largest independently held agencies in the region and holds the highest level of broker distinction with national and regional insurance carriers including Medical Mutual, Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield, and SummaCare.

At AUI Chrissy is AUI’s chief cheerleader, sets agency direction and steers marketing content.  Following the passage of the Affordable Care Act Chrissy took AUI in a marketing direction different from the traditional benefits model which enabled them to capture valuable market share, sought out alternative benefit products, and created AUI University a biweekly compliance and HR library for employer clients.

Chrissy received her Bachelors in Business Administration from John Carroll University and her MBA from the University of Akron.  Chrissy serves as the Community Impact Chair for Torchbearers, the Board Treasurer for Pastoral Counseling Services of Summit County, and assists with various community projects.  When she is not plotting world domination of the insurance industry or volunteering in the community Chrissy can be found at home with her husband, Steve, and two children, Maddy and Caleb.
