The Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting a one-day meeting of the Ohio By-Products Synergy Network on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016.

Hear presentations from Chamber members Hydrodec, Brewster Cheese and Oswald Companies.
By-Product Synergy (BPS) is dened as the practice of matching under-valued waste or by-product streams with potential users, helping to create new revenues or savings. By applying “cradle-to-cradle” design principles, BPS helps companies to reduce their energy use and environmental impacts, while stimulating the regional economy.
Members of the Ohio BPS network include Procter & Gamble, Armstrong, Marathon Petroleum, Worthington Industries, Dow Chemical and many other companies large and small. The members meet about every two months to work on identifying BPS opportunities and bringing them to fruition.
