Dr. Mike Dunphy is a professional speaker, educator and business consultant. For the past 20 years, Dr. Dunphy has completed over 600 highly successful training programs, keynote addresses and consulting engagements with professionals in businesses and organizations as large as Pfizer and Disney and as small as a local print shop. Dr. Dunphy’s programs and services focus on personal and professional development of managers and leaders by helping them increase their ability to use high emotional intelligence, to resolve conflict productively, to help teams accomplish projects and to guide and mentor talented people to create strong, creative and productive business cultures. Dr. Dunphy is an expert with using Situational LeadershipR as a tool for talent retention, and he integrates timeless principles from classical martial tactics to create a powerful and effective set of strategies to substantially increase the chances of developing and retaining talented people.
Dr. Dunphy is a 1979 graduate of Walsh University with a BS in Chemistry, MS in Clinical Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Akron. Dr. Dunphy is currently Professor of Biochemistry and Division Chair of Math and Sciences at Walsh University. In addition, Dr. Dunphy is President and CEO of Mike Dunphy Enterprises, LLC, a private training and consulting firm working with over 80 clients in organizations and businesses in the United States, Canada and Central America. Dr. Dunphy also has 40 years of classical martial training grounded in tactical, personal protection and violence prevention strategies. Since 1995, Dr. Dunphy has trained thousands managers, sales professionals, office professionals and production personnel to help them develop the attitude, habits and skills of champions in the workplace who are willing to optimize, adapt and constantly seek viable solutions to the constant challenges of dynamic organizations and businesses.
