Celebrate Orrvilleâï¿½ï¿½s 150th Birthday at the Orrville Lions Rib & Music Fest August 15 âï¿½ï¿½ 16, 2014. Come hungry to this FREE public event, as youâï¿½ï¿½ll find some of the most luscious, tender, fall-off-the bone ribs anywhere, plus an amazing array of other food specialties. No worries about finding a parking space this year, as free shuttles will be transporting people to and from nearby school parking lots. Friday night the âï¿½ï¿½Cruise Inâï¿½ï¿½ will run from 5:00 âï¿½ï¿½ 10:00 PM. Entertainment for Friday night will feature Tony Rio (country hits) from 6:00 âï¿½ï¿½ 8:00 PM followed by Backbeatâï¿½¦ A Tribute (Beatles) from 9:00 âï¿½ï¿½ 11:30 PM. Saturday has a full line-up including kidsâï¿½ï¿½ activities, an art/craft fair starting at 10am, area businesses are setting up sidewalk specials and demos, and at 8:00 PM Mayor Handwerk will cut the âï¿½ï¿½Sesquicentennialâï¿½ï¿½ birthday cake for all to sample! Entertainment will feature Cajun Butter (R & B, rock & roll) from 6:00 âï¿½ï¿½ 8:00 PM followed by Headliner JOSH KRAJCIK - UNPLUGGED from 9:00 âï¿½ï¿½ 10:30 PM.
