Power of the Purse

Power of the Purse is an evening of camaraderie and charity that brings together the community to encourage, enlighten, and engage families in our community. At Power of the Purse, the purse is a metaphor for strength – strength in coming together to lift each other up; strength in making a statement about the community you want; strength to recognize we all have the power to make a difference.

The evening will be one of celebration, and will include dinner and beverages, as well as the opportunity to bid on silent auction items including designer handbags, one-of-a-kind experiences, getaway packages, and other items. The event will feature speakers and representatives from United Way and its various community partner agencies to help people visualize the impact of United Way in Greater Stark County and learn about the mission, vision, and work of the organization.
