The Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival department of Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce has named the following key committee chairs: Dennis Manzella, Concert for Legends; Karen Miller, Drum Corps International Competition, Darren Faye, Canton Kickoff Celebration and Jeff Burner, Fireworks; and Susan Bodnar, Gold Jacket 5K National Championship.

Manzella, a New York native, graduated from St. John’s University and New York University and is currently serving as assistant vice president of marketing for Western Reserve Group. He is a member of PIA of Indiana, and Big “I” Agent Association of Ohio and Indiana. A long-time, dedicated Enshrinement Festival volunteer, he previously chaired the Appreciation Party and Security and Logistics Committees and has served on the Enshrinement and Game Committees; this is his first year as chairman of the Concert Committee.  He is married to wife Rose Ann.

This year’s Enshrinement Festival will feature more legends than ever, with country superstar Tim McGraw performing at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in this 2nd annual Concert for Legends on Friday, August 5thDan Paumier will assist Manzella as committee vice chairman.

Miller, owner/principal of KMD Associates, was born in Coshocton, Ohio, and is a graduate of Dover High School and Kent State University.  She has served on the Drum Corps committee for four years, with this her second as chairman.  She is married to Tom Dillie and has one son.

The 2016 DCI Tour of Champions, presented by the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival and Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps will be held on Monday, August 8th at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium in Massillon, just one week away from the international championships in Indianapolis. The Tour of Champions event series consists of exciting live entertainment featuring the following top world class corps: Bluecoats (Canton, OH); Blue Knights (Denver, CO); Carolina Crown (Ft. Mill, SC); Madison Scouts (Madison, WI); Phantom Regiment (Rockford, IL); Santa Clara Vanguard (Santa Clara, CA); The Cadets (Allentown, PA); and The Cavaliers (Rosemont, IL).Spectators will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the drum corps experience with exclusive fan-member interaction, pre-show and intermission entertainment and more! 

Faye is a Canton native who graduated from GlenOak High School, University of Akron, and University of Phoenix. Vice President of Leonard Insurance Services, he was a member of the former Ribs Burnoff committee for 16 years and also served on the Balloon Classic committee for two years.  He is currently chairman of Leadership Stark County, director of Catholic Charities serving Portage and Stark Counties, and director of Associated Risk Managers of Ohio.  He and wife Andrea are the proud parents of five children.

In its second year, Canton Kickoff Celebration will occur in downtown Canton beginning Thursday, September 8th which marks the first NFL game of the season. The football-themed event will continue on Friday, September 9th, and will conclude on Saturday, September 10th with a fireworks display. Amy Kinsinger will assist Faye as committee vice chairman, and the fireworks sub-committee is chaired by veteran Enshrinement Festival volunteer Jeff Burner.

The three-day celebration will include the Pro Football Hall of Fame Gold Jacket 5K National Championship in downtown Canton beginning at 10 AM on Saturday, September 10th. This marks the second year of a partnership between the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce and Pro Football Hall of Fame Marathon to produce the race, and Susan Bodnar is serving as chairman for the first time.

Bodnar recently retired from the Canton City Fire Department and now works part time as an American Heart Association Instructor for Aultman College of Community Education and for Public Safety Educators.  She will graduate in December with her Associates degree in Nursing, and she resides in Massillon with her husband, Pat.  Check out the details of the race at
