Education
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice: The Ohio State University

Professional Experience
*Cincinnati Police Officer (1990-1995): Five years of uniformed law enforcement experience immediately after graduating from Ohio State. Implemented and Cincinnati’s first Mountain Bike Patrol Unit after raising funds for a pilot project then recruiting and training officers for certification.
FBI Special Agent (1995-2018):
Retired FBI agent with over 23 years of investigative experience in multiple fields to include drug and gang investigations, white collar crime (investment and bank fraud), cybercrimes, and international terrorism. 6 years of leadership experience both at FBI Headquarters and in the Youngstown and Canton offices of the FBI leading agents and professional support staff in counterterrorism and criminal investigations across all programs.
President/Owner - Hayden Investigations & Security Services, LLC (2018-Present)
Providing investigative and security consulting services to multiple clients including professional sports organizations, private corporations, insurance companies, law firms, and U.S. Government intelligence services. Three such clients include the following:
*NFL Security Representative (2018-Present)
Currently in my fifth NFL season as the League’s Security Department representative. I am assigned to the Cleveland Browns region and my area of responsibility covers all of Northern Ohio from Columbus to Lake Erie. I handle administrative and criminal misconduct investigations of NFL players, coaches, League personnel, ownership and officials. I am also responsible for conducting background investigations on and/or on behalf of the above groups. I have game day responsibilities at FirstEnergy Stadium to ensure the game is played under the careful guidelines of our stadium Best Practices for Stadium Security and Fan Conduct. Lastly, I assist the NFL Security Department with implementing our Best Practices at NFL Events to include the Pro Bowl, NFL Combine, NFL Draft, and the Pro Football Hall of Fame Festival week in Canton, Ohio.
*Fox Sports Security Representative (February 2023-Present)
Contracted with Fox Sports to provide security consulting for all USFL games to be held in Canton, Ohio throughout the 2023 spring football season. Should an incident occur, I will handle administrative and criminal misconduct investigations of USFL players, coaches, League personnel, ownership and officials. I am also responsible for conducting background investigations on and/or on behalf of the above groups should such a request be made. I have game day responsibilities at Tom Benson Stadium to ensure the game is played under the careful guidelines of our stadium Best Practices for Stadium Security and Fan Conduct.
*Federal Bureau of Investigation
Contracted with the FBI to conduct full background investigations for security clearances involving new and existing FBI employees and task force members throughout Northern Ohio.
