Tackling Tax Time with CliftonLarsonAllenLLP

We're tackling tax time at the first QuickConnect Luncheon of 2021 on Feb. 23 at the beautifully renovated DoubleTree by Hilton Canton Downtown Hotel (formerly the McKinley Grand)! The luncheon is limited to 100 guests and will feature Dave Groves, Theresa Mullen and Dan Schrader with CliftonLarsonAllenLLP (CLA) who will answer your PPP and tax questions, including: 

  • Paycheck Protection Program Update on Forgiveness and Round 2 Applications
  • Employee Retention Credit new rules- who qualifies and how to claim the credit
  • Remote Workers and PPP and their impact on state nexus and tax returns

CLA is a professional services firm delivering integrated wealth advisory, outsourcing, audit, tax, and consulting services.

Dave Groves, CPA

Dave is a principal with CLA. He has more than 15 years of "Big Four" public accounting experience in taxation. Dave provides tax advice and consulting services to nonprofit universities and hospitals, publicly traded companies, privately-owned businesses, private-equity-owned businesses, and individuals.

Daniel R. Schrader, CPA, MBA, CCIFP 

Dan joined CLA, in 2010. He provides tax planning/advising and financial statement compliance for clients in the construction and real estate industries. Dan is heavily involved in tax return compliance and planning for individuals, corporations and partnerships. Dan leads the CLA Northeast Ohio Construction Industry group.

Theresa B. Mullen, MT 

Theresa has with more than 23 years of tax and accounting experience and specializes in State & Local tax issues. She is a frequent speaker on State and Local Tax issues. Theresa works with clients acting as a liaison between clients and state representatives. She reviews clients' eligibility for state tax incentives to ensure that they are capitalizing on all possible state tax minimization strategies. Theresa was invited to testify for the Ohio House of Representatives to the Committee on Ohio's Tax Structure. Additionally, she serves on the Ohio Manufacturing Association Tax Committee, Ohio Society State & Local Tax Committee and various local chamber tax committees.
