Join us January 12 featuring Arthur Ritchie, Owner, Burkins, Ritchie & Associates LLC.  Art will discuss addictive behaviors and how they impact safety in the workplace, home and community.  Learn the warning signs and resources to overcome them.

You do not need to be a SCSC member to attend - all are welcome!  Season passholders do NOT need to register.


ABOUT: Arthur Ritchie, Owner - Burkins, Ritchie & Associates LLC

Arthur Ritchie is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) who specializes in providing services in the substance use recovery field. In 2008, Arthur joined Max Burkins to deliver the Bureau of Workers Compensation Drug-Free Safety Program (DFSP) training to Ohio employers and has been instrumental in significantly expanding the services offered by Burkins, Ritchie & Associates, LLC.

Arthur regularly travels throughout Ohio to conduct professional development seminars, and to assist companies with the implementation of effective Employee Assistance Provider (EAP) services, including substance abuse prevention and wellness programs and offering presentations to highlight essential initiatives to promote workplace safety and enhance employee wellness, engagement, and retention, such as work-life balance, efficient stress management, and strategies to prevent workplace harassment and discrimination.

Arthur earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Union College and his certification from the University of Akron in Advanced Addiction Services with Honors.

Arthur is certified as a CEAP by the National Employee Assistance Professional Association (EAPA), is a US Department of Transportation (DOT)-qualified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), and is a member in good standing with the National Association for Addiction Professionals (NAADAC) and the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM). Arthur is qualified as a Certified Professional Collector by the Drug & Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA) and has served as a licensed safety trainer for the American Red Cross since 2001.
