On Saturday, May 11, 2013, join the National Association of Letter Carriers as they STAMP OUT HUNGER. On May 11, letter carriers across the country will be collecting foods for families in need. The food will then be donated to local food banks and pantries, including the Stark County Hunger Task Force. It's easy to help: 1. Collect and bag non-perishable food items. These items can include canned meats, fish, soups, juice, vegetables, pasta, cereal, and rice. Please do not include perishable items, expired items, or any glass containers. 2. Place the bag(s) by a mailbox for the letter carrier to pick up and deliver to a local food bank or pantry. Whether it be one can or 20 cans, everything makes a difference. Please consider donating on Saturday and helping us STAMP OUT HUNGER. For more information, please visit www.facebook.com/StampOutHunger. You can also visit www.starkhunger.org.
