The presentation will initially highlight the ubiquity of inadvertent violations of the FLSA from oversight or misunderstanding. Hans and his colleagues will discuss and provide examples of the legal, economic & business consdequences of such errors; best practices; and tools to discover & avoid errors. The panel will walk us through the anatomy of an FLSA collective action lawsuit, which will include suggestions as to how liability may be mitiaged even after a lawsuit has been filed. *HRCI Credits have been submitted for approval.
