Tickets are $75 per couple or $50 per person and include hors doeuvres, beer and wine. For more information, contact this years chairperson, Howard Wernow at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 330.477.3552. Opportunities are still available for corporate sponsorships and donations. Celebrity dealers will be on hand to deal cards and include Mayor Kathy Catazaro-Perry, Sheriff George Maier and Dave Waikem, owner of Waikem Auto Family. The event is co-sponsored by Waikem Auto Family and Nickajack Farms. This event has been successful in helping us to not only raise money for multiple projects and programs at Stark Parks, but also to share our mission to the Massillon community, said Kevin Haun, President of Friends of Stark Parks. Currently the boards goal is to raise money to help fund a new building for the wildlife rehabilitation program located at Sippo Lake. Over 2,000 sick, injured, and orphaned animals are treated each year with the goal of releasing them back to their natural environment. Friends of Stark Parks is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) volunteer organization established in 1997 and has contributed funds to tree plantings, caging for the wildlife rehabilitation center, and the establishment of an endowment fund managed by the Stark Community Foundation.
