She diversified our surveillance and introduced aerial flyovers for assessing not only project status, but also potential root causes of infrastructure failures, giving us an edge in monitoring recently completed projects that may be at risk. Colette is currently tracking construction progress of Columbia Gas’ Mountaineer XPress pipeline, a key transportation highway for much-needed natural gas supply in the US, and is closely monitoring the buildout of pipelines in the Permian. She is an academically trained geologist and prior to joining the natural gas team here, worked with the U.S. Forest Service conducting climate change research through stream temperature data analysis. She has a BS in Geology from Pacific Lutheran University and a MS in Earth Science from Boise State University.
