Utica Summit III Speaker Lineup to Include Agent for Ethane Cracker
Jason Hamman, economic development consultant for Monroe County, Ohio, will be in Canton this October to talk about how Southern Ohio landed the proposed Appalachian Resins ethane cracker, which would produce polyethylene for plastics manufacturers. An ethane cracker could bring hundreds of direct and indirect jobs to the county and surrounding region. To hear Hamman, register for Utica Summit III, our final oil and gas business development seminar of the year, on Oct. 13 at the Conference Center, Kent State University at Stark. Utica Summit III looks at the overall Utica Shale development, with a focus on downstream uses of the abundant energy being found in Ohio. Utica Summit III is a co-production of The Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, Shaledirectories.com and The Repository. Since 2012, the Utica Summit and Utica Capital Series has hosted hundreds of local and regional attendees interested in learning more about Utica energy and how it affects their business. Register at a discount before Aug. 14 at UticaCapital.com.
