Walk a Mile in her Shoes

Malone University and the Domestic Violence Project, Inc. (DVPI) are uniting to present Walk a Mile in Her Shoes � The International Men�s March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault, and Gender Violence, Saturday, October 15 from 9:30 � 11 a.m. on the Malone University campus located at 2600 Cleveland Avenue N.W in Canton. The walk demonstrates that men are willing to be courageous partners with women in making the world a safer place. Participants are required to walk one mile in women�s shoes � which, as women already know � can be a challenge! Local student high school athletes have committed to walking a mile in women�s shoes as a symbol of support for the cause. Community members are welcome to participate, or cheer the guys on as they hobble toward the finish line! Registration is $20 per person, and participants should bring their own shoes.
