Why are you interested in Stark County’s Young Professionals initiative?

Stark County will always be home so it is a mission of mine to be a valuable asset to my community.

What would you share to encourage other people to join?

Investing in one's leadership development is always going to be extremely beneficial for everything one is attached to. Whether it be for career goals, personal development or simply getting to know other local leaders. It is necessary.

Did you grow up in Stark? If so, where? If not, where did you move from and why?

Yes. Born and raised. Canton, Oh and McK grad.

Why do you stay in Stark County, from both a personal and professional point of view?

I stay here because I believe that we have a lot to offer despite what anyone else may believe. It's always good being home and I've been able to connect with some amazing people, organizations &businesses.

What do you like MOST about Stark County?

I cherish most, the relationships I've been able to form.

What would you change about Stark County if you could?

I would only increase the care and concern for our marginalized areas.

What do you see as valuable opportunities for YPs in Stark County when it comes to career opportunities, cultural access, leadership or community involvement opportunities?

Opportunities like our leadership programs and volunteer spaces are important pieces. These opportunities allow the community members to get to know and get involved with their community.

What would attract more YPs to Stark County?

Increased job opportunities with competitive pay rates.

What do you do in the evenings or on the weekends for fun in Stark County or NE Ohio?

Walking the Monument park is my favorite, or catching a good movie at one of our local theaters. &of course hitting up a local restaurant.

Could you see yourself spending your lifetime in Stark County and if not, what would cause you to leave?

I could see myself staying here, although due to me being a summer baby...I do love a good beach moment.
