The meetup events are well run, well attended and I alwasy meet new people who provide great conversation and learning!

Did you grow up in Stark? If so, where? If not, where did you move from and why?

Yes! I grew up In navarre, graduated from Fairless High School and then Walsh University.

Why do you stay in Stark County, from both a personal and professional point of view?

After college I moved and worked everywhere from Lakewood and Cleveland, to Downtown San Francisco to glitzy Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles then to Washington D.C. and now back home for good in Jackson. Stark county was our choice to set roots because its growing, the people are friendly and it has some wonderful school districts! Its convenient location to the bigger cities in the state make it ideal! For business we have great areas of growth and success which provides for very attractive markets, the cost to do business is very hard to beat and the knowledge base within the community is top notch!

What do you like MOST about Stark County?

The variety! So many fantastic places to dine, places to play, and places that make you feel right at home!

What would you change about Stark County if you could?

Less construction :-)

What do you see as valuable opportunities for YPs in Stark County when it comes to career opportunities, cultural access, leadership or community involvement opportunities?

Fantastic pockets of finance and business along with growing markets in the healthcare field! YStark itself is leading the way in providing opportunities to learn and grow from existing leadership and to get involved!

What would attract more YPs to Stark County?

More opportunities for YPs to congregate and network!

What do you do in the evenings or on the weekends for fun in Stark County or NE Ohio?

Going to the YMCA for fitness, enjoying the many parks with my kids and spending social time with neighbors in our wonderfully tight knit neighborhood! We also travel a lot to Cleveland to enjoy E. 4th street and see stand up comedy at Hillarities!

Could you see yourself spending your lifetime in Stark County and if not, what would cause you to leave?

yes, the cost of living and tight knot community make it ideal for a lifetime spent! if I ever left it would be for more days, weeks and months of sunshine!
