Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce Announces Melinda McNutt as Vice President of Development & Partnership Relations

The Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce has named Melinda McNutt as Vice President of Development & Partnership Relations, effective immediately. Melinda brings a depth of experience in sales and economic development. In her new role, Melinda will be a key member of the Chamber’s Executive Leadership Team, led by President and CEO Jeff Dafler, and will oversee partnership development and sales initiatives for the organization.

Melinda brings a wealth of experience in sales, marketing, and economic development to the role. Prior to joining the Chamber, she served as an account manager at GIE Media, where she successfully built and maintained customer relationships. She has also worked with several prominent organizations, including Team NEO, The Civic Development Corporation of Ashtabula, the United Way of Greater Cleveland, and the Small Business Development Center.

"Melinda has a remarkable background that makes her an ideal fit for this critical role at the Chamber,” Dafler said. “She’s a strong addition to our team and I’m excited to see how she will contribute to our continued growth and success.”

A former Clevelander, Melinda has volunteered for several organizations including The Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club, Rotary International, Engage! Cleveland, Downtown Cleveland Alliance, and JumpStart Leaders Council. Melinda is a 2020 graduate of the Levin School of Urban Planning where she obtained her Master of Science degree in Urban Studies. Melinda resides in Avondale with her dog Leo.
